98 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "A treat. Anne Gros owns 0.6ha of old vines in Richebourg, most of it in Les Véroilles . The fruit is completely destemmed prior to fermentation, and Gros relates that the Richebourg grapes are sturdy enough to continue punching down longer than other parcels. The firm extraction yields a wine of marvellous density, but not one that is lacking the Anne Gros trademark of velvety, unctuous fruit. A superb wine capable of decades of cellaring if desired. Drinking Window: 2029-2059. (10/24/20)"

95-98 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Fine imperial purple, with wonderful ripe but balanced fruit suffusing the palate, a ball of ripe raspberry, just the right oaking, just enough acidity, tannins helping the structure but in low key, and all the persistence you could possibly hope for. (Nov 2020)"

95-96 points Steen Öhman (Winehog): "Richebourg is the land of glory, where a few are great, and no one talks about the disappointments. The Anne Gros Richeborg is neither the greatest nor the most expensive. But give it time, and there is practically a guarantee of gobs of joyful pleasure. The bouquet is deep and quite intense, with a warm greeting from the vintage. Like other 2019s, it has the vivid freshness and sensual vivacity that are the hallmarks of this mighty vintage. There are layers of pinot fruit, with notes of strawberries, pomegranate, raspberries, and even cloudberries to accompany the violets and peonies. Not overtly complex, it is still delightful and effortless in the best sense of the words. While this is not the most muscular Richebourg, it has – as they say at Rolls-Royce – “adequate” power, which is delightfully sufficient. Give it at least 10 – and preferably 20 – years. Drink from 2040. (3/17/21)"

93-95 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2019 Richebourg Grand Cru is very pure and focused, featuring strawberry, raspberry, orange peel and blood orange aromas; a hint of black truffle emerges with time. The palate is medium-bodied with firm but fine tannins. Wonderfully focused, spicier and more savory than the 2018, leading into a long finish, this is a superb Richebourg, even if at the moment I would like to see more of its aristocratic origin. Drink: 2025-2050. (Dec 2020)"
