94-97 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Medium deep red purple. The nose offers a little more intensity than those which have gone before. The fruit is a little darker, but the particular character is much greater intensity on the palate and a little sucrosity behind, without losing the acid balance. Dark cherry and raspberry fruit notes, very succulent, and certainly persistent. Superbly balanced aftertaste. Shyly suggestive thinks Etienne if I have translated correctly. Tasted: November 2018."

95 points Tim Atkin, MW (Decanter): "Les Beaux Monts is situated next to Aux Brûlées but makes a very different style of wine in the Grivots' hands. This is chalky, racy and energetic, with subtle reduction, fine-grained tannins and a finish that lingers on the tongue. Drinking Window: 2022-2030. (Nov 2018)"

92-95 points Fine Wine Review: "The Vosne-Beaux Monts is light, pure, and flowing with mineral fruit that is mostly dark. The wine shows some structure, but not as much as the Brulées. (4/9/19)"

94 points CellarTracker.com community score.

92-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2017 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Beaux Monts is also showing very well, offering up aromas of sweet Asian spices, rose petal, plums, cassis and dark chocolate. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, with good depth and dimension, vibrant fruit and a sapid, expansive finish. (Jan 2019)"
