94 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "Dense black plum and blackberry fruit, with the characteristic garrigue aroma of wild herbs. There is still a good impression of freshness on the palate and fairly grippy tannins. Well-balanced and typical of the village. The vines in this half-hectare parcel south of the village are more than 60 years of age. The thin white marl soils delivered super-ripe grapes in 2020. Grivot destemmed them and extracted gently. Drinking Window: 2025-2050. (11/10/21)"

94 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Brimming with freshness, this smells of blueberry pie and summer flowers. The tannins are smooth, the oak is deftly judged and the minerally finish lingers. This is sophisticated and immediately appealing. Les Roncières sits toward the northern end of the southern side of Nuits. 2022-34. (Jan 2022)"

94 points Bruce Sanderson (Wine Spectator): "[$250 list] A smooth red, evoking cherry, black currant, violet and iron aromas and flavors married to a sleek, elegant frame. Balanced, succulent and long, this is saturated with flavor. As a bonus, this is drinkable now if decanted. Best from 2025 through 2042. 29 cases imported. (5/31/23)"

91-94 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Elegant, pure and airy aromas speak of the essence of plum, dark raspberry and subtle spice and earth wisps. The equally elegant and refined medium weight flavors are at once sleek and detailed while displaying a gorgeous mouthfeel on the impressively lengthy finish. Like the Chaumes, this is unusually good. Drink: 2032+. (Jan 2022)"
