93 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "The 2022 Clos de Murger is done in classic Meursault style with more weight than the Bourgogne from the same site, ripe apple fruit with hints of butter and hazelnut, and a lovely density. However, there is nothing overdone — the wine retains a balancing acidity, the use of new casks is very judicious (less than 10%), and the reductive handling (no batonnage) delivers a wine of elegance and finesse. The grapes are from the 2.58 hectares of vines in the village behind the family house. Drinking Window: 2025-2045. (5/30/23)"
Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(Also in the domaine’s ‘garden’ – 30 years older vines than the last – 52 this year.) An extra whiff of perfume in the higher tones here. Hmm, extra intensity – vibrations of energy like the last – fading slowly with a pretty salinity too. Tasty wine. (Dec 2023)"
