91 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "I was surprised to learn that the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits bottling above had been raised in more new oak this year than the Nuits St. Georges villages, as this cuvée only saw ten percent new barrels this year. The wine is very refined on the nose, wafting from the glass in a mix of cassis, bitter chocolate, currant leaf, venison, a complex base of dark soil tones, woodsmoke, just a touch of oak and a floral topnote redolent of peonies. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very pure on the attack, with an excellent core of black fruit, moderate tannins and a long, complex and soil-driven finish. I love the balance and backend grip on this wine. 2032-2075. (Jan/Feb 2025)"
91 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Bright mid purple. A heady ripe nose, tastes like a sunnier year despite not picking late and keeping a sensible degree. Plenty of energy on the palate, fresh plums and vivid dark raspberries, with good length. Bottled in September. (Nov 2024)"
91 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com) (Jan 2025).
Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(About 10 different plots – 4 from behind the domaine and the remaining more on the Premeaux side at the bottom of the hills.) Similar width, less depth but extra floral perfume in this width – this nose has energy. More composed but also more delicious depth of flavour. The texture a velour – the tannin barely visible and certainly without grain. This has extra sophistication – it’s a great ‘villages.’ (4/22/25)"
