93 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(tasted in 2023 in Australia; 45% chardonnay, 45% pinot noir, 10% meunier; 2018 base vintage; 15% reserves; no oak; no malolactic fermentation; disgorged first week of January 2022; 8 g/L dosage). Contrary to its name, a small proportion of reserves dictate that Grande Réserve is a strong reflection of its base vintage. The fruity richness of 2018 is well suited to non-vintage blends and plays confidently to the malic style that defines Gosset. Red apple and pear fruit are cut with the tang of grapefruit and the nuances of red berries. Three years on lees have built depth of roast nuts, fruit mince spice and honey. A cuvée of fruit integrity and persistence, driven by malic energy, concluding long and balanced. This is an oxidative style and ready to drink now. One bottle showed hints of oxidation in a note of toffee and a touch of dry astringency on the finish. (Edition VII; 2024)"

93 points Decanter: "The oldest Champagne house is a favourite among wine trade insiders. This non-vintage cuvée boasts mellow red apple fruit aromas. It has beautifully subtle autolysis on the palate, with creamy apple and plum, and great precision. (Mar 2022)"

93 points Falstaff: "Subtle notes of fresh almond pastry hover above the lemony nose that signals much freshness. The palate is bright and vivacious. Despite being exquisitely slender, and possessing the house’s signature steeliness, there is much depth and resonance to be found in the subtle autolysis and the gentle stone fruit hints that play on the mid palate and the long finish. A most elegant aperitif style. (9/30/22)"

93 points Wine Spectator: "[$64 list] There's linear drive to this focused, harmonious Champagne, yet racy acidity is effortlessly integrated with the finely detailed mousse as this carries nectarine, mandarin orange, candied ginger and chopped hazelnut notes. Salty finish. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Drink now through 2029. (11/30/24)"

92 points Sarah Mayo (The Wine Independent): "Gosset’s Grande Réserve Brut NV is a blend of 45% each Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with 10% Pinot Meunier that is aged a minimum of four years on lees and finished with an eight grams per liter dosage. Fragrant and assertive, the nose displays aromas of preserved lemon, red currant, elderflower, chalk, whipped butter and honey. Medium-bodied and fused with vibrant, shimmering acidity and plush red fruit concentration, the palate is elegant and balanced throughout and has pretty, floral notes on the finish. Drink: 2023-2030. (11/8/23)"

92 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The current release of Gosset 'Grande Réserve' is from the base year of 2015, with ten to twenty percent of the cuvée made up of reserve wines. This iteration has ended up with a cépages of forty-five percent each of chardonnay and pinot noir, coupled with ten percent of pinot meunier. It was disgorged in 2019 and finished with a dosage of 8.7 grams per liter. The wine delivers lovely aromatic complexity in its refined blend of apple, fresh-baked bread, chalky soil tones, caraway seed, a touch of hazelnut and a gently smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied and beautifully focused, with a lovely core, elegant, tiny mousse, zesty acids and a long, complex and very precise and classy finish. This is excellent. 2020-2045. (Nov/Dec 2020)"

92 points James Suckling: "This has attractive aromas of apricots, pie crust, raspberries, fresh walnuts and pears, with a hint of white pepper and ginger. Elegant, fine and supple mousse, with a medium body and creamy layers of fresh fruit and pastries. So dry and clean. 45% chardonnay, 45% pinot noir and 10% meunier, based on 2017 vintage with 8% reserve wines. 7g/L dosage. Drink now. (7/31/23)"
