95 points James Suckling: "Striking nose of candied orange peel with a touch of red berry and delicate bread dough notes. Generous and ripe with some real power on the palate, the fruit pouring over the palate in one great wave, the chalky minerality almost under the waterline, but deftly supporting the long finish. Bottled on the 27 April 2017 and disgorged in November 2022. Drink or hold. (7/4/23)"
94 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(tasted in 2023 in France; 100% Oger chardonnay; 47% Terres de Noel and Bruly; 30% Champs Nerons; 23% Fondy; 11.4 degrees natural potential; aged more than 5 years on lees; 4.5g/L dosage; 2921 bottles). There is a compelling refinement to the 2016 season, which serves to tone the natural exuberance of Oger. A core of pink grapefruit and white nectarine is accented with the classic blood orange of the village, set to a backdrop of characteristic, grainy minerality, and a texture akin to grapefruit pith. It projects impressive energy and life, with a fine acid backbone carrying a finish of medium persistence. An impressive result for Oger. (Edition VII; 2024)"
