This Falletto cuvée, a mythical name in the world of wine, comes from vines located in the famous Serralunga d'Alba vineyard, where Giacosa has captured the very essence of this terroir. On the nose, the wine unfurls aromas of black cherry, blackberry and wild raspberry, delicately blended with hints of violet, licorice and leather. A hint of white truffle completes the picture. On the palate, it impresses with its firm, silky structure. Rarely elegant tannins provide remarkable balance, while a subtle freshness maintains the harmony between ripe fruit and sweet spices. A persistent minerality recalls Serralunga's limestone soil, reinforcing this sensation of intensity and purity. The long, refined finish leaves an indelible imprint of fruit and undergrowth. Decant for ±2 hours and serve at 17°C. Fantastic with veal osso buco Milanese, grilled quail, duck leg confit, white truffle risotto or roast lamb.
