88 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Offering up aromas of sweet red berries, forest floor, licorice and rose petals, the 2015 Bourgogne Rouge is medium-bodied, pure and satiny, with succulent acids, a sappy core of fruit and melting tannins. Gourmand but lively, it's especially good this year, reflecting the quality of the vintage. Drink: 2018-2028. (Oct 2018)"

88 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A notably ripe yet very fresh nose of red currant, raspberry and a hint of earth dissolves into impressively dense and powerful medium weight flavors that deliver excellent depth and persistence on the well-balanced finish. It's rare to see this level of quality from a regional wine and it would make a great choice for an all-around house red. Drink: 2021+. (Apr 2018)"

88 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2015 Bourgogne rouge from the Gaunoux family will be a very good example and atypically forward by the properly structured standards of this traditional domaine. The bouquet is pure and vibrant, offering up scents of cherries, Corton-like spice tones, quince, gamebird and a fine base of soil. On the palate the wine is deep, full and nicely balanced, with good mid-palate depth, just a touch of backend tannin and fine length and grip on the focused finish. This will need a couple of years to blossom, but will be a very good example. 2020-2040. (Nov/Dec 2017)"
