Brisk purple dark fruit on the nose, firm fruit with plenty of stuffing, indeed some plumpness in the middle. A crunchy finish. 12.5% alcohol, which is a relief in 2018. There is something rugged and old-fashioned about this – in a good way. (Mar 2020)"
