89-91 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Bourgogne Aligoté Champ Forey Vieilles Vignes is aged for one year in demi-muids and then six months in stainless steel. This has quite a primal bouquet with grapefruit and Conference pear. The palate is balanced with a supple texture and notes of orange cordial, pear and grapefruit, leading to a slightly more peachy finish. It has good potential. Drink: 2026-2033. (Jan 2025)"
89-91 points/'Outstanding/Top value,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(Fournier noted that while this is 100% aligoté, it's not stated on the label). A mentholated top note is present on the otherwise similar aromas of Granny Smith apple, spice and citrus peel. There is notably better volume to the sleeker and impressively intense flavors that brim with minerality on the clean dry and beautifully long finish. This is a seriously good Bourgogne and highly recommended. Drink: 2027+. (Jun 2025)"
90 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Fair density of colour yet with a lime tint. The Champ Forey bottling offers a crystalline intensity, pure white fruit, holding its wood well and with fine length. (Mar 2025)"
