Foillard's "regular" Morgon bottling has not been reviewed, but without a doubt it hits well above its weight class! This is one of the best bargains in cru Beaujolais.

Its vivid, pure Gamay fruit is truly refreshing, but what really stands out its mouthfeel: though enlivened by perfect acidity, there's an inviting suppleness allied to an almost satiny texture. To be honest, I've tasted a few 2021 Beaujolais that were not so much "elegant" as they were anemic and underripe; this assuredly is not one of those!
