95 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "...from the base year of 2019 and includes reserve wines from 2018. It is still quite youthful... offering up a beautifully precise bouquet of apple, pear, passion fruit, chalky soil tones, brioche, a touch of macadamia nut and a gentle framing of buttery old oak. On the palate the wine is bright, complex, full-bodied and still quite youthfully snappy with a superb core of fruit, lovely mineral undertow, refined mousse and outstanding length and grip on the impeccably balanced and extremely promising finish. It is certainly drinkable today, but to my palate, it is still several years from entering its plateau of peak drinkability... 2030-2075. (Mar/Apr 2025)"

93 points Audrey Frick (JebDunnuck.com): "The current release of the NV Champagne Cuvée Spéciale Brut is based on the 2018 vintage and is 45% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and the rest Meunier. The nose is beautifully rounded and vinous, with red fruit, crushed flowers, light toast, and graham cracker. It is full and rounded on the palate without being heavy and has incredible balance and salinity, as well as a silky texture. It is hard to resist drinking now, but it will certainly improve over the next ten years.Fabrice Gass, formerly of Bollinger, is based in Damery, in the Montagne de Reims. He began making the wines while he was still their winemaker and continues to use old Bollinger barrels at his home estate. He works organically and only produces approximately 5000 bottles a year. Drink: 2022-2032. (11/7/22)"
