87-89 points/'Outstanding/Top value,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(also from Meursault vines but from soil with more gravel and rock content). This is similar to the Bourgogne chardonnay but with noticeably better aromatic layering. The old vines are in evidence on the palate of the medium weight flavors as there is markedly better density as well as surprisingly good power, at least in the context of what is considered typical for the genre, all wrapped in a lingering, sappy and balanced finale. This is excellent for what it is and recommended. Drink: 2027+. (Jun 2025)"
86-88 points Jasper Moris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Pale lemon, a little more tension on the nose and slightly fuller on the palate, with adequate tension at the back, though in the same style as the regular Bourgogne Blanc – perhaps less of a difference between the two this year. Drink from 2026-2029. Tasted Oct 2024."
Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(From Pellans and Millerandes – the youngest vines here from 1976…. All in 500 and 600 l barrels.) More direct and faintly oaked on the nose. Ther’s a little extra richness here – more like a generosity – wide – showing a more mineral style. (Dec 2024)"
