91-94 points/'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .55 ha parcel). Firm reduction dominates the nose though wisps of citrus character can be discerned. In contrast to the Les Lys, here the much bigger-bodied flavors possess very fine density and obvious power on the sappy lemon rind suffused finish. This firm and serious effort will need to develop more depth but if it does this could well be excellent. Drink: 2028+. (Oct 2021)"

93 points Jasper Morris MW (Inside Burgundy): "Fine pure lemon colour with a green reflex. Stylish on the nose, too much power to be elegant at this youthful stage but quite gracefully put together. Superb intensity then a racy yet ripe lime note through the middle, with a lifted finish. Very well made and showing great promise for the future. (May 2024)"

93 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com) (2022)

92+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2020 will be the last vintage of Mont de Milieu at Domaine Fèvre for quite a few years, as these old vines were grubbed up after this vintage and will not be replanted for a couple more years, and then their production will go into the Chablis AC cuvée for some time after that. However, the wine has certainly chosen a fine vintage with which to let the curtain fall for the time being, as it delivers a superb nose of lemon, tangerine, pear, paraffin, a fine base of chalky soil tones and a topnote of fruit blossoms. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied, complex and classy, with a lovely core, excellent transparency, bright acids and fine balance and grip on the long and classy finish. I like the backend tension here very much, which augurs well for its evolution in bottle. 2026-2055. (Nov/Dec 2021)"
