94 points James Suckling: "Really pretty balance and focus to this red with plums, berries, cherries, currants and hints of vanilla and hazelnuts. It’s medium-to full-bodied with refined tannins and a clean, fruity finish. Very elegant. Pure sangiovese. So drinkable now. Why wait? Drink or hold. (7/28/20)"

93 points Falstaff Guide: "Spicy blackcurrant. Blueberry compote and some wood. Lulls the palate with a soft and creamy attack, crumbly tannins in deep quantities, lots of juice and even some minerality. Its round, seamlessly soft-flowing style is largely convincing despite the rather weak structural part - the acidity is also well integrated. (Apr 2015)"

93 points (16.5/20) La Revue du Vin de France (2019).

92 points Wine Enthusiast: "This is a wine to watch as it develops slowly. It is all structure, concentrated and solid. Dense tannins vie with the black-currant fruits from the high proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend. Drink this wine from 2024. (Feb 2017)"
