94-96 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Made by the vinification intégrale manner after pedicel treatment, then aged in a new 150 litre François Frères barrel. Dense purple, some oak showing, quite a powerful beast. What a wealth of fruit though hard to see all the way through as yet. There’s a huge amount here, it is not that the wine itself is too massive, but that it is really hidden. Drink from 2029-2036. Tasted: December 2022."

92-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2021 Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Les Reignots offers up aromas of raspberries, spices, sweet soil tones, smoke and rose petals. Medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with plenty of powdery structuring tannin, it's a pretty, perfumed wine that will reward some bottle age. (1/31/23)"

91-94 points/'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "This is also wonderfully floral in character if perhaps a bit more restrained with its subtle spice nuances adding to the appeal of the elegant and cool aromas of mostly black cherry and exotic tea. There is slightly more underlying tension to the cuts-like-a-knife medium weight flavors that seem to be built on a base of almost pungent minerality while exhibiting excellent length on the firmer, more austere and beautifully long finale. This too possesses excellent development potential, and it is a wine that will clearly need at least some patience. Drink: 2033+. (Jan 2023)"
