96-98 points/'5 Star Wine,' Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "From the top of the vineyard, with high trellising but not tressed. 100% whole bunches. Two barrels from 11 ares. A brilliant bouquet, hauntingly fine. I just held back from swallowing it. Transcends its barrel easily, with an astonishing range of little red fruits and flowers, the juicy side of alpine strawberries. Very very long. Perfectly ripe at 12.7%. Drink from 2032-2040. Tasted: December 2023."

92-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2022 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Petits Monts has turned out beautifully, bursting with aromas of raspberries and smoky plums mingled with orange zest, rose petals and spices. Medium to full-bodied, supple and suave, it's pure and seamless, with fine-boned tannins and a bright, saline finish. (1/18/24)"

91-94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Here too soft wood is present on the even spicier aromas of mostly red berries, violet, lavender, orange peel and a pretty wisp of jasmine tea. There is both excellent punch and delineation to the powerful and tautly muscular middleweight flavors that terminate in a very firm, long and impeccably well-balanced finish where a touch of austerity eventually emerges.
