89-92 points/'Outstanding/Top value,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "An attractively fresh and airy nose offers up notes of poached plum, dark raspberry and ample spice wisps. The delicious and highly energetic middle weight flavors also exude evident minerality that adds a sense of lift and detail to the long, balanced and layered finish. This is an excellent Morey villages. Drink: 2030+. (Jan 2025)"
89-91 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Aromas of sweet, smoky berries, spices and baking chocolate introduce the 2023 Morey-Saint-Denis En La Rue de Vergy, a medium to full-bodied, ample and melting wine that's supple and saline. As readers may remember, this derives from a cool vineyard above the Clos de Tart. (1/30/25)"
89-91 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Morey-Saint-Denis En La Rue de Vergy, which includes 20% whole bunch, has a more extrovert bouquet with kirsch and blood orange scents infusing the red fruit notes. The palate is ripe and sweet on the entry, with hints of candied orange peel, red cherries and a touch of spice. It has fine length, it's just missing a bit of nobility like Felettig's other cuvées. Drink it over six to ten years. Drink: 2026-2036. (Jan 2025)"
