92-93 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Made from purchased grapes. 30% whole bunches does not impinge on a vigorous purple colour. Impressive density with a noble grain, dark raspberry fruit, some blackberries, with a good fruit-acid balance and grainy tannins to add to the structure Drink from 2030-2036. Tasted Dec 2024."

91-93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Morey-Saint-Denis Les Charrières 1er Cru, from purchased fruit, matured with 30% whole bunch and 40% new oak, demonstrated quite a reduction on the nose, making it more challenging to read than other cuvées. The palate is medium-bodied with chewy tannins. It's quite grippy with plenty of heft, yet it retains balance and grace. There is impressive purity toward the unapologetically structured finish. Cellar this for four or five years to get the most from this wine. Drink: 2028-2045. (Jan 2025)"
