91-93 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Purchased grapes. A fine deep and even purple. The nose is all about the fruit, not the barrel, though the extra tannins become apparent at the finish. A dark berried style of fruit, with persistence once it fights its way past the oak. Drink from 2031-2038. Tasted: December 2023."
91-93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 [Morey-St-Denis Les Charrières] 1er Cru is a new cuvée from purchased fruit. There is mainly dark berry fruit here with touches of juniper and damp, loamy soil, gradually opening in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied and certainly well-balanced, with crisp tannins and a citric underbelly. The almost briny finish has a real "bite"; I suspect this will age very well in the bottle. Drink: 2026-2043. (Jan 2024)"
