90-93 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "He likes the vintage in Gevrey because there was enough rain. 20203 provided the best grapes he can remember since starting in 1994 in these vines. Gilbert has made 9 barrels instead of just 400 litres in 2024. A bright ruby purple. The fruit hovers between raspberry and strawberry – normally more of the latter here – and is beautifully juicy on the palate. An elegant finish with good acidity, refined raspberries showing through. Drink from 2027-2033. Tasted Dec 2024."

89-91 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .39 ha holding). A more deeply pitched nose speaks of plum, discreet sauvage and earth scents with a mentholated top note. The succulent and suave middle weight flavors possess a refined mouthfeel thanks to the relatively fine-grained tannins on the dusty, balanced and lingering finale. This is a very good Gevrey villages that is worth considering. Note that it could be enjoyed young or held for the mid-term. Drink: 2029+. (Jan 2025)"
