89-91 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from 20 different parcels). More elegant and cooler aromas include those of red cherry, black raspberry, anise and wet stone. The sleeker and more refined, if less succulent and sappy, flavors exude a subtle minerality that adds a sense of lift to the youthfully austere and sneaky long finale. This is lovely and very Chambolle in basic character. Drink: 2029+. (Jan 2026)"

89-91 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "With individual plots such as Clos Village and purchased Derriere le Four included, the Chambolle Vieilles Vignes counts as negociant in 2024. Recently sulphured when assembled in tank. Dark ruby to purple in colour. The nose has a certain depth of fruit, fresher raspberry with good acidity on the palate. A tiny bit saline even without whole bunches. Not forceful but interesting and quite persistent. Drink from 2028-2033. Tasted Nov 2025."

Producer notes: "The 2024 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes includes the Vieilles Vignes and Clos Le Village this year. 'Vieilles Vignes' is normally crafted from a blend of around twenty plots, all situated within the Chambolle-Musigny Village appellation, covering approximately 3 ha. 'Clos le Village' comes from a small enclosed vineyard of about 0.5 ha, planted more than 35 years ago in the heart of Chambolle-Musigny, on clay-limestone soils. The vineyard faces east and is located halfway up the hillside, at an altitude of approximately 300 meters. It is situated near the village church and benefits from soil rich in active limestone, characterized by a warm microclimate. This wine is medium to full-bodied, offering a generous and velvety texture, with a pure and juicy fruit core, vibrant acidity, and a lingering mineral finish. It exudes elegance and harmony."
