Vibrant purple, not too deep, with a beautiful quality of velvet fruit, Fills the mouth, juicy but fresh, red fruit, mostly raspberry with a few cherry top notes, enough acidity, nicely managed tannins. 90-92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Clos de Village, which comes from a 0.5-hectare of vines, had not been racked. It has a cool, tertiary, tobacco-tinged bouquet - something almost autumnal about this Chambolle. The palate is medium-bodied with a touch of cracked black pepper on the entry. The 40% whole bunch here just needs more time to integrate and allow the limestone soils to show through on the finish. Fine, but it will need bottle age. Drink: 2027-2048. (Dec 2021)"
