93 points and 'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(there are only two owners of Les Carrières and Felettig is the only producer; from a .40 ha parcel). A restrained mix of floral elements combine with notes of plum and dark raspberry, all of which is trimmed in subtle wood. There is solid size, weight and volume to the tautly muscular flavors that possess excellent mid-palate concentration as well as plenty of power on the mouth coating, balanced and beautifully persistent finish. This is really quite impressive but it will require at least 6 to 8 years of cellaring first and should reward 12 to 15. Drink: 2027+. (Jan 2014)"

93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2015 Chambolle-Musigny Les Carrières 1er Cru has a slightly more extroverted, higher-toned bouquet than its peers and delivers a scintilla of cassis, though not so much that it dominates the pure strawberry and raspberry scents. With aeration, a hint of pressed iris imparts more complexity. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, extremely well-judged acidity, a satiny texture and a pixelated finish that immediately beckons you back for another sip. This is extremely fine, and as I intimated in my barrel assessment, it has "learned some manners" and is evolving into an exuberant and quite delicious wine. Drink: 2021-2040. (Nov 2018)"

92+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "In contrast to the Gruenchers 2015, the les Carrières was completely destemmed in this vintage. The bouquet here is superb, jumping from the glass in a mix of black cherries, sweet cassis, dark chocolate, a fien base of soil, woodsmoke and cedar. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and quite pure on the attack, with nascent complexity, ripe, suave tannins and a long, well-balanced and tangy finish. This seems likely to drink a little sooner than the Gruenchers in 2015 and should prove to be an outstanding example of the vintage. 2025-2075. (Mar/Apr 2018)"
