92-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Combottes has turned out especially well, exhibiting notes of sweet red berries, rose petals, orange zest and spices. Medium to full-bodied, supple and fleshy, with a pure core of fruit, lively acids and a long, mineral finish, it's a quintessential Chambolle-Musigny. (1/30/25)"
92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Next door to Aux Echanges, on a gentle slope, with more limestone. 70-year-old vines in good health, so 40% whole bunch was possible. Medium density ruby. Good raspberry fruit here, a little more personality than Aux Echanges, some alpine strawberries, with very good length. A sense of crisp precision, while the flavours remain in the mouth much longer. Drink from 2030-2037. Tasted Dec 2024."
91-93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(40% whole clusters). A perfumed and airy nose is comprised by notes of ripe plum, violet, red and dark cherry and a spicy top note. The vibrant, detailed and lightly stony middle weight flavors possess a sophisticated mouthfeel while exhibiting fine length on the refined and balanced finish. A classic Chambolle of finesse and grace. Drink: 2031+. (Jan 2025)"
