92-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Bursting with aromas of cherries, plums, blood orange and spices, the 2023 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Charmes is medium to full-bodied, satiny and vibrant, with an expressive core of fruit, supple tannins and a long, lively finish.(1/30/25)"
92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "30% whole bunches. A fine fresh mid purple. The bouquet is bursting with lively fruit, raspberry with a hint of strawberry. The Charmes has a firmer structure, from old vines that didn’t yield above 30 hl/ha. A more muscular style of Charmes, with slightly more tannins. Drink from 2020-2037. Tasted Dec 2024."
91-93 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .23 ha parcel; 30% whole cluster). A restrained, elegant and airy nose is beautifully layered with its combination of red and dark raspberry, spice, lavender and violet. There is a really lovely texture to the tension-filled and well-detailed medium-bodied flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the balanced and beautifully long finish that would also benefit from developing more depth. Lovely and very Charmes in style. Drink: 2033+. (Jan 2025)"
