90-92 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(there are only two owners of Les Carrières and Felettig is the only producer; from a .40 ha parcel). Attractively layered aromas of dark cherry, raspberry, spice and a top note of kirsch serve as an elegant introduction to the super-sleek, intense and almost aggressively mineral-driven flavors that also culminate in a chiseled, firmly austere and compact finale. This is definitely going to need at least mid-term keeping first. Drink: 2032+. (Jan 2026)"
Producer notes: "This Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru cuvée comes from a small plot located in the 'Les Carrières' lieu-dit, covering an area of 0.40 ha. The soil consists of a thin layer of clay, which is a unique feature on white marls and dense limestone rock. There are two plots--one with limestone soil and the other with marly soil. About 80% of the grapes are fermented with the whole bunches. The altitude is around 300 meters, and the plot is situated halfway up the hillside. It faces southeast."
