93-95 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny Les Carrières 1er Cru has a lovely bouquet that completely subsumes the 100% new oak, whilst the 80% whole bunches imparts discrete white pepper and bay leaf notes that enhance the red fruit. The medium-bodied palate is very tensile and focused with finely chiseled tannins and a vibrant, lightly spiced finish with a touch of curry leaf on the aftertaste. Excellent. Drink: 2027-2047. (Jan 2024)"

92-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Carrières derives from two blocks—one is 45 years old, and the other is 10 years its senior, both of which are treated with a caterpillar-tracked "chenillard" rather than a tractor. Unfurling in the glass with notions of cassis and raspberries mingled with blood orange, petals and spices, it's medium to full-bodied, supple and seamless, with a cool and enveloping core of fruit, lively acids and a complete, harmonious profile. This is especially good this year. (1/18/24)"

91-93 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Two plots one limestone one marly. Gilbert notes that he no longer gets oidium here since turning organic. 80% whole bunch. A fresh, even purple, with an interesting almost two-tone aspect. Red fruits not massive, with some oak, well stretched out. Drink from 2030-2038. Tasted: December 2023."

90-93 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(there are only two owners of Les Carrières and Felettig is the only producer; from a .40 ha parcel). This is aromatically similar to the Les Plantes but with a hint of poached plum that lurks in the background. The super-sleek and almost aggressively mineral-driven middleweight flavors don't have the same power but they are finer, all wrapped in a lacy, moderately austere and linear finish. This isn't especially dense and it could use better depth but it is very 'Chambollesque'. Drink: 2032+. (Jan 2024)"
