92-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Aromas of cherries, cassis, peonies, orange rind, rich soil tones and spices preface the 2020 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Carrières, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and charming wine that's lively and precise, concluding with a long, saline finish. (Jan 2022)"
91-94 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(there are only two owners of Les Carrières and Felettig is the only producer; from a .40 ha parcel; <35% whole clusters). A deft application of wood sets off the aromas poached plum, violet and discreet spice nuances. Once again, the mouthfeel of the medium weight flavors is super-sleek with equally good minerality suffusing the firm, serious and chalky finish. This isn't seductive but it is elegant and built-to-age. Drink: 2030+. (Jan 2022)"
90-93 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "100% whole bunch. Rich deep purple, not so much nose. Fresh energetic raspberry on the palate, backed by well ripened blackcurrant, but chunky with more tannins behind, perhaps exacerbated by the low yield. This will take longer to resolve. (Dec 2021)"
