It is a blend of Aux Combottes and Les Combottes, what typical Burgundy complexity! 60% whole bunch vinification. A lighter colour here, and more reductive nose. Supple and elegant, with some oak, not too much density, as always more in length than power. (Dec 2021)"

This flashes the peculiar kind of reduction the Burgundians call bourgeon de cassis, or cassis blossom. There is excellent delineation to the intensely mineral-driven middle weight flavors that possess fine length and balance though it will need to add more depth to merit the upper-end of my projected range.
