90-92 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "There are six barrels of this and we tasted from three. Tasted from new barrel, recently sulphured: almost black purple. Solid weighty fruit with firm tannins. From one year old wood – purple rather than black. Essence of raspberry, much more about the fruit than the barrel. Still some tannins, but high quality fruit with impressive length. And then from a new barrel in which the wine was actually fermented in vinification intégrale manner: purple black, with a bouquet that seems a little silkier. The fruit is more softly despatched across the palate but the oak currently takes the upper hand. Overall, this is clearly a well-constructed Beaune with plenty of fruit. Drink from 2026-2032. Tasted: December 2022."

89-92 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .50 ha parcel). Moderate wood that is no longer subtle frames the ultra-fresh and more elegant aromas of red pinot fruit and pretty floral elements. The sleek and impressively intense middleweight flavors also possess focused power on the compact, youthfully austere and more structured finale. Drink: 2031+. (Jan 2023)"

89-91+ points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2021 Beaune 1er Cru Les Champs-Pimont offers up aromas of plummy fruit and sweet spices, somewhat obscured by youthful reduction. Medium to full-bodied, ample and seamless, it was another wine that was holding its cards close to its chest when I visited, but it appears to possess excellent potential. (Jan 2023)"
