94 points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "Entirely sourced from the Palm parcel, the 2019 Niedermenniger Herrenberg Riesling Spätlese feinherb #3 Palm is bright and floral on the complex and very delicate nose, representing overtones rather than a subwoofer. Round and piquant on the palate, this is a playful, tensioned, pure and refined Spätlese in the off-dry style. The wine has stimulating grip and is my favorite Herrenberg this year. You must love Riesling's acidity, though. If you don't, try the AP #4 (Onkel Peter), which is richer and wraps the acidity with intense and concentrated fruit. This Palm was bottled with 8.5% alcohol. Tasted in May 2020. Drink: 2024-2045. (Aug 2020)"

94 points Mosel Fine Wines: "AP: 03 20. The 2019er Niedermennig Herrenberg Riesling Spätlese Feinherb Palm (the reference to this internal cask name is provided in small print on the label) comes from 60-70-year-old vines in the south-facing Langenberg sector of the vineyard, and was fermented down to off-dry levels of residual sugar (28 g/l). This bright colored wine offers a stunningly pure and deep nose made of vineyard peach, mirabelle, apricot, ripe apple, grapefruit, and fines spices. The wine is marvelously precise and pure on the palate, where lemon zest, more apricot blossom, herbal elements, white peach, an ever-so-slight touch of whipped cream, and zesty acidity are in perfect harmony. The finish is all about precision, vibration, and persistence. What a huge success! 2024-2039. (Jun 2020)"
