91-95 points Fine Wine Review: "The Nuits-Poréts Saint-Georges shows minerality to its dark fruit, firmness, vivacity, and depth. (Issue #130; 2011)"

91-93 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(vinified with 25% whole clusters). Moderate floral notes add breadth to the very fresh and earthy red currant and plum aromas that lead to precise, vibrant and attractively transparent medium-bodied flavors that are complex, serious and persistent. This is a classic Nuits with fine balance. Comments: Outstanding. Drink: 2021+. (Jan 2011)"

92+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2009 Nuits 'les Porrets' was showing lovely potential in the cellars, as the wine soars from the glass in a deep and sappy blend of black cherries, plums, coffee, gamebird, a touch of cocoa, fresh herb tones and spicy new oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, complex and quite structured, with plenty of ripe tannin, good acids and fine focus and grip on the very long and primary finish. Al this lovely wine needs is some time in the cellar. 2017-2050. (Sep/Oct 2011)"

92+ points Stephen Tanzer (International Wine Cellar): "Good bright medium red. Sexy aromas of redcurrant, strawberry, smoke and minerals. Round, seamless and rich, combining the volume of the vintage with a restrained sweetness. The palate offers spicy red fruits, flowers and crushed stone, not to mention impressive persistence, but the wine's serious tannins call for cellaring. I like the influence of some whole clusters here. (Mar/Apr 2012)"

92 points Wine Spectator: "Marked by new oak, this red offers clove and charred accents to its ripe cherry and plum flavors. Lush and polished, with a sweet fruit and spice aftertaste. There's fine balance overall. (12/15/11)"
