91-95 points Fine Wine Review: "Faiveley’s Les Saint-Georges shows quite ripe (but not overripe) red and dark fruits with a smooth texture. There’s length here and quality tannins. Those who especially prize ripeness will be even more than I. (12/12/17)"

94 points Decanter: "The nose displays rich plum and cherry fruit that's a bit wild but undoubtedly intense. Very rich, powerful, compact yet luminous, with fine acidity. A good dose of new oak, and although tannic it shows no toughness. Fine acidity marks the finish, which is energetic, punchy and long. Drink: 2021-2040. Alcohol 13.5%. (Apr 2019)"

93-94 points James Suckling: "A deep and complex wine that makes this site often referred to be the best of Nuits St. Georges. A potential Grand Cru. The dense structure and impressive tannins extend through the long, velvet finish. You can drink this now for the generous blue fruits, but if you want all the minerality give it five, ten or more years of aging. (2/15/18)"

91-94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A broad-ranging nose features notes of red and dark raspberry, cherry, lavender, earth and a suggestion of the sauvage, all of which is trimmed in just enough wood to notice. There is excellent delineation and vibrancy to the overtly powerful medium weight plus flavors that also possess obvious muscle before concluding in a saline and lightly austere finish. This is quite firmly structured and will need plenty of time to reach its full apogee. In a word, excellent. 2031+. (Jan 2018)"

90-93 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Full, concentrated purple. Les St Georges offers a dense bouquet with almost a nutty character. Then a great weight of fruit but the finish is a little bit marked by the oak from this sample. Nonetheless the mineral touch is still there. (Jan 2018)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(Plenty of frost here.) Really a much tighter aroma. Fresher, more energy -- hard to contain in the mouth -- plenty of tannin but ultra-fine -- melting flavour. Really to wait longer for than all the preceeding wines, but a great wine -- saline and concentrated in the finish. (Tasted in Nuits St.-Georges with winemaker Jerome Flous, 13 December 2017)"
