94 points Tim Atkin, MW: "The best of the Nuits-St-Georges reds chez Faiveley (as it generally is), this comes from a surprisingly small holding of only 0.23 hectares in the lower part of the Premier Cru. Serious tannins, fresh acidity and bramble and redcurrant fruit with lovely length and finesse. 2018-27."
91-94 points and 'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A broad-ranging and highly complex nose offers up aromas of red currant, plum, earth and game hints. There is excellent power, punch and delineation to the more mineral-inflected medium weight plus flavors that exhibit excellent persistence on the beautifully well-balanced finish. This is a combination of muscle and grace as the power is delivered without weight. Worth checking out. Drink: 2029+. (Jan 2016)"
93 points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "($184/750ml list; entirely destemmed; Les Saint-Georges is shown in larger type face on the label than Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru, in tribute to this vineyard's likely future elevation to grand cru status): Bright full red. Laid-back, subtly complex scents of dark raspberry, blueberry and violet, complicated by an inky nuance and a suggestion of piment d'Espelette. Intensely flavored and light on its feet, displaying excellent definition but also a wonderfully fine-grained texture to its berry, spice, floral and mineral flavors. This wine conveys a weightless quality and an element of finesse not shown by the other Nuits-Saint-Georges crus here but also more sweetness, pliancy and depth. Finishes with very suave tannins and terrific perfumed length. Balanced from the start but built for aging. Drink: 2024-2036. (Mar 2017)"
