The wine has a pronounced sweetness and a gratifyingly silky texture on the palate. Jérôme Flous remarked that despite the lack of water in 2022, the vines of the Côte Chalonnaise had a noticeably lower pH than those of the Côte d'Or in general, which helps keep this lively and fresh.
