92-95 points Fine Wine Review: "Faiveley owns 2 ha of Cazetiers; the youngest vines date to 2005, the oldest to 1945-47. The nose has dark fruits and a bit of animality -- it is very typical of a Cazetiers nose. The mouth has structure and length to the dark fruits, especially blackberries, but the sensuality of Cazetiers comes through, too. It is a good example of the terroir of Cazetiers. (12/30/14)"

91-94 points and 'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a huge 2.05 ha parcel). A classic Gevrey nose displays an abundance of that sauvage character that adds breadth to the intensely earthy plum, spice and black currant scents. The exceptionally rich, powerful and imposingly concentrated middle weight plus flavors possess plenty of minerality that adds a sense of lift to the palate coating finish where the supporting tannins are notably firm. Even so, in much the same fashion as the Combe aux Moines this is a bit less youthfully austere than it usually is. Good stuff and worth considering. Drink: 2025+. (Jan 2015)"

92 points Wine Spectator: "[$153/750ml list] Elegant and firmly structured, boasting cherry, currant and floral flavors, with spice and licorice hints. Finishes with a juicy blast of fruit and spice. Best from 2017 through 2025. 170 cases imported. (2/29/16)"

91+ points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "[$153 list] Bright dark red. Sexy aromas of raspberry, smoked meat, rose petal and vanillin oak, plus a complicating note of leather. Suave and sweet on entry, then rather tightly coiled in the middle, conveying a strong impression of energy to its flavors of red fruits, spices, minerals and coffee. Comes across as drier than the Lavaux, and more medicinal. With a firmly tannic finish, this wine needs time in bottle to expand and loosen up. Drink: 2023-2034. (Mar 2016)"

17/20 points Jasper Morris MW (The World of Fine Wine): "Cassis on the nose. Lovely bright fruit--too young but full of promise. Everything in place. (Issue 54; 2016)"
