98 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "Superfloral and supersilky, this is so seductive and subtle, you could mistake it for a Musigny. Power and concentration are underplayed, and it moves across the medium-bodied palate with the grace of a prima ballerina. Excellent mineral acidity drives the extremely long finish. From organically grown grapes. Matured in a half-and-half mix of new oak barriques and once-used casks. Drink or hold. (5/28/25)"

96 points Bruce Sanderson (Wine Spectator): "[$501 list] The initial impression of this sleek, silky red is the vanilla, licorice and spice notes of the new oak, yet there’s ample cherry, strawberry, rose, cinnamon and mineral flavors underneath. Everything converges on the terrific aftertaste, where the fruit, floral, mineral and spice elements come together. Shows superb potential. Best from 2028 through 2045. 175 cases made, 35 cases imported. (9/17/25)"

94-96 points Fine Wine Review: "Red cherry fruit with spices, smooth, long, good concentration but elegant. (2/26/25)"

95 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Jérôme says this is more Chambolle than Vosne, and he feels it performs best in warm vintages given its high elevation up by the forest. It is definitely classy and charming with juicy red berries and a scintillating quiver of acidity. Flattering spice drawer notes accompany the extended finish. Chambolle-sque for sure. (Jan 2025)"

93-95 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2023 Echézeaux En Orveaux Grand Cru is another highlight of the range, mingling notes of raspberries and plums with aromas of orange zest, cinnamon, peonies and vine smoke. Medium to full-bodied, layered and sensual, with a rich core of fruit, supple tannins and a saline finish, it's well worth seeking out. (1/30/25)"

92-94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Echézeaux En Orveau Grand Cru comes from a parcel close to the lieu-dit of Petit Musigny on marl soils. This is very composed on the nose with delineated berry fruit, loam and forest floor scents. It's certainly one of the more understated Echézeaux. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy red fruit. It is quite energetic, with a fine bead of acidity and a sense of brightness on the finish that is very appealing. This is another 2023 from Faiveley whose charms reveal themselves gradually in the glass. (Jan 2024)"

91-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Light to medium crimson. A lighter fruit with a slightly savoury style, a little on the sweetly ripe strawberry side, some distinction behind. Not quite compelling, though, within this quality line-up. Drink from 2030-2038. Tasted Nov 2024."

91-94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Moderate reduction dominates the underlying fruit today. Otherwise, there is better volume and density to the medium-bodied flavors that are shaped by admirably fine-grained tannins on the balanced and impressively persistent finale. This is an Echézeaux of finesse and refinement. Drink: 2033+. (Jan 2025)"
