95 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Hailing from Corton Rognets, this is a crunchy, vivid and refreshing Corton. From start to finish, the tannins are impressively smooth, seeming to defer to the acidity to provide the structure. Cranberries, goji berries and lingonberries pack onto the palate. The oak is almost imperceptible. (2023)"

95 points/'Le Coup de Coeur,' La Revue du Vin de France: "A lot of finesse and aromatic complexity in the Corton, infused and earthy, with admirable depth of flavor and a slender build, served by delicate, judicious ageing. (2024)"

95 points Bruce Sanderson (Wine Spectator): "[$491 list] Pure and silky, offering cherry, raspberry, floral, sandalwood and oak spice flavors, this gains depth from earth and mineral notes. (11/30/23)"

95 points James Suckling: "This Corton Grand Cru has the imposing structure that we associate with this appellation, but also the aromatic shyness and fresh mineral acidity that not everybody will be pleased by at this early stage of the wine’s long life. For us this is a compelling expression of this great site with excellent mid-palate richness and a very polished finish in spite of a touch of wildness. Try to be patient. Try from 2026. (7/18/23)"

92-95 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "A pretty fresh ruby crimson. The nose is elegant for Corton, fruit enhanced by a floral top note. Very good. Crisp, mineral, vertical, somewhat raw but with a fine quality of fruit, reasonable persistence. The new wood is not marking in flavour but does help to make the structure. Drink from 2028-2036. (Nov 2022)"

94 points/'Very Fine,' Steen Öhman (Winehog): "The Corton des Cortons is made from a large plot at the top of the Corton hill. Sometimes I feel as though tasting it is akin to dancing with a heavyweight, but the 2021 has added lovely delicacy to the Corton. This is always welcome in this, one of the big wines of Burgundy. It will need plenty of time. Drink from 2036. (12/19/22)"

92-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Unwinding in the glass with aromas of sweet red berries, rose petals, orange zest and forest floor, the 2021 Corton Grand Cru Clos des Cortons Faiveley is medium to full-bodied, ample and layered, with a rich core of fruit framed by powdery tannins and a taut, incisive profile. (Jan 2023)"

92-94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): " The 2021 Corton Clos des Cortons Faiveley Grand Cru has a pointed nose, a little angular after the splendid Musigny, hints of clove and white pepper filtering through the red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, quite sapid with good backbone, solid and a little muscular on the finish. Give this 2-3 years in bottle or preferably leave for ten. Drink: 2026-2050. (Jan 2023)"

90-93 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A perfumed, cool and restrained nose grudgingly offers up its combination of red cherry, raspberry, soft earth and a background touch of oak. There is excellent energy if only average density to the beautifully textured, precise and lightly stony flavors that flash a hint of youthful austerity on the sneaky long and moderately firm finale. This should repay a decade or so of keeping. Drink: 2031+. (Jan 2023)"
