94 points Wine & Spirits: "2008 Corton Grand Cru Clos des Cortons Faiveley Faiveley's grand cru monopole is close to 7.5 acres of pinot noir, with some of the vines dating back to 1936. The beauty of the wine is immediately there-in the aroma, in the surety and purity of the fragrance, the taste of fresh cherries, the scent of a floral border in spring. It's spicy, bold, firmly structured, intellectually pleasing in the intricacies of its structure, seductively supple even now. There's incipient flavor perceptible in the tannin, suggesting this needs a decade or more to fully evolve. (Oct 2010)"
91-94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Almost invisible wood allows the lightly spiced and earthy red berry fruit aromas that are admirably pure to merge into relatively supple yet well-detailed broad-shouldered flavors that culminate in a lingering and solidly firm finish. This is unusually approachable but I expect that it will tighten up considerably after it is bottled. If so, this will definitely be a wine for the patient. Drink: 2020+. (Jan 2010)"
92 points Stephen Tanzer (International Wine Cellar): "Medium red with a palish rim. Pungent aromas of red berries, stone and flowers. Full, sweet and powerful, conveying an impression of strong extract. Very rich but very young wine with a serious underlying mineral spine. (Mar/Apr 2011)"
