95 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Beautifully scented with black cherries, blood oranges and Asian five spice, the palate is almost chunky with lushly ripe flavors. Gently nudging, velvety tannins team up with a waterfall of fresh acidity to give this excellent poise. A powerhouse without doubt, this is hyper focused and ready to age at length. It would be a shame to touch this before eight to ten years. The oldest vines here date to 1949. (Jan 2026)"

95 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "‘The king of the red,’ according to technical director Jérôme Flous, this is superb, with a ripe plum and raspberry fruit accented with notes of earth and spice. The texture is lighter and less dense than the 2023, but there is an essential elegance, balance and finesse that is marvellous. Fully ripe with supple tannins, good weight and length, Flous notes that 2024 will be the last vintage with two Chambertin-Clos de Bèze cuvées, as it was obliged to pull up a part of the vineyards, so all the Ouvrées Rodin grapes will be blended into one cuvée. Drinking Window: 2035-2065. (Sep 2025)"

94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Mid crimson purple. There is power on the nose though still with the softness of fruit. The various berries expand on the palate through to a classy finish, the fruit entirely covering the structure. Still just medium length. (Nov 2025)"

91-94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a 1.29 ha parcel). Generous wood again challenges the fruit but not the spice on the nose of red currant, dark cherry and that interesting humus-tinged earth/forest floor character. There is better volume and solid power to the rich and voluminous flavors that possess a sappy mid-palate where the dry extract also serves to buffer the firm tannic spine shaping the linger, balanced and ever-so-mildly austere finale. Drink: 2034+. (Jan 2026)"

93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2024 Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze Grand Cru is a step up over the Charmes-Chambertin with greater depth and complexity, though it is still relatively open-knit compared to other vintages. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, a mixture of red and black fruit, very smooth with a plush and quite sensual finish. Lovely. Drink: 2027-2040. (Jan 2026)"
