96-97 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "Such a classic example of this appellation with the generosity and density we expect from Batard, but this is interwoven with stunning citrusy freshness that magnifies the complexity at the expansive, yet precise finish. From old vines purchased in 2008. (8/8/23)"

95-97 points Fine Wine Review: "The nose here is stony and nobly austere. The mouth is fresh, intense, concentrated, deep, and long with minerality. This is a wine that still needs substantial time in barrel and then probably bottle, but the potential is for greatness. (8/23/23)"

94-97 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Mid lemon yellow. Some delicacy, without disputing the imminent power. A pure bench of fresh white fruit, actually this is more about nuances than power, though it maintains energy all the way through, to a fine long finish. Love the tension, and the finesse, while some other versions may be more intense. Drink from 2030-2038. Tasted: October 2023."

96 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Delicately scented with pretty floral tones, sweet spices and yellow apple peels, the palate brings on toasted baguette and a light earthiness. The broad palate is harnessed by perky acidity. The long finish is firm and concentrated. Faiveley purchased these 50 ares in 2008, along with their Bâtard-Montrachet. (2024)"

93-95 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2022 Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru unwinds in the glass with aromas of peach, ripe citrus fruits, white flowers and toasted nuts, followed by a full-bodied, satiny and textural palate that's rich, lively and saline. (1/18/24)"
