94-96 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The soils here are stonier and faster draining, and the 2023 Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru is denser and more unctuous than the Bienvenues. Exhibiting notes of pear, lime zest, toasted bread, white flowers and hazelnuts, it's full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with broad shoulders and plenty of structuring extract. (1/30/25)"

94-96 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Fresh lemon and lime. A little touch of coconut. There is more hinterland to the Bâtard-Montrachet than the Bienvenues, and the flavour builds steadily to the back. The oak is well integrated. It is just the lime thread that doesn’t seem quite in place. Drink from 2032-2038. Tasted Nov 2024."

95 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Rich on the nose, this shows up with an equally vigorous--almost brawny--mouthfeel blazing with cleansing tension. Flamed grapefruit peel, warm croissant, crème caramel and honeycomb splay across the broad, mealy palate. The smaller of the two white Grand Crus, Faiveley is still in the top ten (tied with the Hospices de Beaune) owners of this charismatic cru. (Jan 2025)"

93-95 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru is frankly in a different league to the Bienvenue this year. It's far richer and more complex with greater mineralité. The palate is well balanced with a smooth entry and quite creamy in style but with ample depth. Quite harmonious with hints of peach skin toward the finish, this is going to be seductive Bâtard-Montrachet. This is excellent. Drink: 2028-2048. (Jan 2025)"
