97-98 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "Mind-blowingly deep and subtle nose of stone fruit with citrusy nuances. All the density of Batard, but with such elegance at the extremely long, focused finish. Great potential! From old vines purchased in 2008. (8/8/23)"

95-98 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "A little more yellow in colour, with clearly more substantial fruit weight. Rich but not heavy, excellent acidity, more waves of fresh plum fruit coming swinging through the mouth. This and the Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet are so different in style. Erwan and colleagues feel that this is among the best they have ever made. Drink from 2030-2040. Tasted: October 2023."

95-97 points Fine Wine Review: "Although oak is apparent in the Bâtard-Montrachet’s nose, there is also noble austerity here. The mouth is pure, nervy with tension, and fresh. It shows less minerality and detail than the Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet, but more power. (8/23/23)"

96 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Generously aromatic, this starts with warm waffles, sweet brioche and roasted hazelnuts. The palate has generous concentration and seamlessly integrated, mouthwatering lift. The lengthy finish is firmly dry and lightly tannic. The smaller of the two Puligny-based Grand Crus, Faiveley has 35 ares here. (2024)"

93-95 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Deep and muscular, the 2022 Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru reveals notes of pear, sweet stone fruit, fresh mint, buttered toast and hazelnuts, followed by a full-bodied, rich and layered palate that's deep and concentrated, its sweet core of fruit girdled by lively acids. (1/18/24)"

93-95 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru has slightly more complexity and mineralité on the nose than the Bienvenue. It’s sprightly and focused, with a hint of sea spray coming through with time. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tension and a very slight reduction that lends tension, counterbalancing the creamy finish. Excellent. Drink: 2026-2045. (Jan 2024)"
