95 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "Expansive nose of orange blossoms, apricots and lemon curd. Deep, compact and precisely structured, the silver vein of acidity running through this medium- to full-bodied dry riesling keeping it on course as it plows its way over your palate. Stunning finish that is as fresh as it is powerful. Whatever you do, put this in a large glass of the kind you’d use for a great pinot noir. From organically grown grapes. Vegan. Drink or hold. (Jul 2024)"

93+ points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "Entirely from Eltville and predominantly the old vines from Schloss Eltz, the 2023 Mélange is clear, deep and refined on the aromatic and even fruity, very elegant and generous nose. Smooth and elegant on the palate, this medium to full-bodied Riesling is intense and juicy and provided with salty grains and fine tannins. It's long and complex yet more charming than the Lorch and even the Kiedrich. Dense, astringent, saline and powerful, this is a substantial Riesling of exceptional quality. This is in fact an Eltville village wine. 13% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in August 2024. Drink 2024-2045 (Oct 2024)"

93 points Anne Krebiehl MW (Vinous): "The 2023 Riesling Mélange trocken is a mix of two sites, Eltviller Kalbspflicht and Hattenheimer Schützenhaus. Just a touch of smoky reduction sits on the shy nose. The palate has poise and zestiness on a textured body that lives off citrus pith. This is slender but full of flavor, colored gently by much riper, juicier citrus on the mid-palate that seduces almost by stealth. It’s lovely, dry, fresh and lasting. (Bone-dry) Drink 2024-2045 (Oct 2024)"
