Silky, lush and persistently salty on the palate, this is a full-bodied, lush and intense, very complex and sustainably structured Riesling with persistent salinity and mineral length. 92 points Ulrich Sautter (Falstaff): "Grapes from Eltville and Hattenheim. Some raisins and baked apple on the nose, with almost red berry aromas. An overtone of smoky, stony notes. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with some volume, on a soft, supple base and with ripe acidity, chewy texture. Tactile minerality makes the palate light-weight despite the comparatively high alcohol. Alcohol 13%. (11/15/21)"
