90 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The first vintage of this wine, the 2023 Bestizo is also the first red the producer’s ever made without some Tempranillo. From an older vineyard of 100% Mencia, it’s soft and supple, with an herbal, floral rose-like quality to the nose and luscious flavors of plum and peach. It’s stainless steel fermented and aged in larger French foudres for only eight months, preserving a nice, light-bodied freshness through the finish. Drink now and over the following 5-7 years.
