94 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(tasted in 2023 in Australia; 100% Vrigny meunier; 2Ha single vineyard of 40-year-old vines on a south-facing slope; 2018 base vintage; 50% reserves; vinified in stainless-steel tanks; aged 3 years on lees; disgorged July 2022; 2g/L dosage; 30,000 bottles). The voluptuous generosity of meunier in 2018 sits beautifully in the toned style that is Egly, charged with energy and zest. A core of red apple and red berry fruit is bountifully laden in all the spice and fruit cake nuance of meunier. Signature Vrigny and benchmark meunier. (Edition VII; 2024)"

94 points Wine Spectator: "Bright and deeply golden in color, with a rich nose of roasted nut and a fine, pointillist bead carrying notes of dried raspberry, white truffle, quince paste, chamomile and oyster shell. Soft orange peel acidity and a tang of salinity keep this fresh on the palate and drive the long, creamy finish. Reminiscent of Spain's Viña Gravonia Rioja Blanco, but with bubbles. Disgorged November 2021. Drink now through 2030. 75 cases imported. (2022)"

93 points Audrey Frick (JebDunnuck.com): "Made from 50% reserve wine with the base 2018, the NV Champagne Les Vignes de Vrigny is fruity and fresh with great energy in its notes of raspberry, strawberry, and wet stone. The palate is medium-bodied and inviting, with fresh yeasty bread dough and a granular. chalky texture. Entirely Meunier, it’s long and has a spine of acidity. Drink: 2025-2035. (11/17/23)"

93 points Tom Hewson (Decanter): "This cuvée is always such a clear-eyed picture of snappy, fragrant Meunier full of just-ripe apricot, fresh almonds and an almost citric focus on the palate. Based on the 2019 vintage with reserves from 2018 and 2017, there's plenty of fleshy orange ripeness from these two years, but not an inch of fat. This needs at least six months post-disgorgement to really come out of itself. A 100% Meunier from the village of Vrigny in the Petite Montagne de Reims. No oak. Drinking Window: 2024-2028. (1/7/24)"

93 points Essi Avellan, MW: "(base 2019) Even if competition is plentiful and ever-increasing, Egly-Ouriet’s classic 100% Meunier trailblazer still excels within the exciting pure Meunier category. Fermentation in tanks and blocking of the malolactic fermentation boost the wine’s fresh fruity, transluscent character. Peachy fruit with floral tones and a light whiff of toffee and spice adding onto its complexities. The palate combines silky texture to brisk, vibrant acidity and juicy fruitiness. This base 2019 blend with reserve wines from the two preceding vintages comes with rare finesse and detailedness for Meunier. (Feb 2024)"
