90-93 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "This year the straight Gevrey-Chambertin includes Le Clos, Champ, En Vosne and 1er cru Champeaux. A fresh even ruby purple. The bouquet is a little more reserved than for the Bourgogne Rouge, but with a suggestion of greater depth. Now some fresh but sweet cherries start to come out. Very balanced and though accessible at first, the back of the palate delivers additional intensity which will take longer to emerge. A good balance with the tannins, and fine persistence. Just the right acidity. Drink from 2025-2030. (Nov 2022)"

90 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Village this year represents a blend of Le Clos, Champ, En Vosne and Les Champeaux that are usually bottled separately. It has a delicate, pure bouquet with delineated wild strawberry, cranberry and crushed stone aromas. This is nicely focused. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, slightly chalky with a sustained, peppery finish. Delightful. Drink over the next decade. Drink: 2023-2032. (Jan 2023)"

90 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com) (2023).

'Very Good+' Steen Öhman (Winehog): "The first of the two new village cuvées is Domaine Duroché Gevrey-Chambertin 2021. It is a blend of regular Gevrey-Chambertin village lieux-dits (Le Clos, Les Champs, En Vosne), and Les Champeaux 1er Cru, and it creates a delightful example of Gevrey generosity. This has notable intensity and vividness, yet is delicate with generous notes of wild strawberries and a hint of raspberries. A sensual, emotional wine, and I adore it. Drink from 2028. (10/27/22)"
